Renu Desai, who proved her talent as an actress
with the films like 'Badri' and 'Jani', never appeared on the silver
screen later. In fact; she may not act in films in future as she has now
concentrated on direction and production of films. Her first Marathi
film as producer 'Mangalashtak Once More' became a hit.
Now she is busy with her first directorial Marathi venture Ishq Waala Love. The movie is currently heading towards a release shortly.The film is being made under the banner of 'Sri Akeera Films', named after her son Akeera Nandan. Recently announced that she has the plans of translating it into Telugu and releasing both Marathi and Telugu versions on September 26.

Any cine goer can easily guess that the names of the kids are enough for Pawan's fans to have a soft corner for the movie and get emotionally attached to it.
Cine pundits say this is a strategic movie from Renu Desai as she enjoys a following here in Telugu and moreover, there is this Akira sentiment which might actually fetch her openings.
